About Us
Resist Stigma is a national initiative that engages young gay, bisexual, queer, two-spirit, and trans (GBQ2ST) men and health professionals in combatting stigma. We resist stigma by building knowledge, by providing educational opportunities, and by engaging young GBQ2ST men in creating messages that resist stigma by sharing our stories.
Resist Stigma will support young GBQ2ST men under the age of 30 who have small but powerful ideas about how to bring conversations about stigma to social media and online channels under the Resist Stigma banner. Learn more about the grants available to help create your ideas here.
Resist Stigma is a project of the Community–Based Research Centre for Gay Men’s Health (CBRC), a non–profit charitable organization that advances gay men’s health through research, learning and leadership development. We work in collaboration with community groups and health professionals from across the country to resist stigma.
